Schafer Services is a custom sign, banner, apparel, and vehicle graphics shop in Springfield, Illinois. This page explains what information we collect when you contact us or request a quote, what we do with it, and how to tell us to stop.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us. When you fill out a quote request, use the chat on our site, email us, or call the shop, that can include:

  • Your name and business name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Details about the job — sizes, quantities, deadlines, and the artwork or files you send
  • Anything else you choose to tell us in a message

We do not sell your information, and we do not buy lists.

What we use it for

  • Quoting your job and answering your questions
  • Sending proofs for your approval, and telling you when an order is ready
  • Scheduling installation or pickup
  • Occasional updates about the shop, if you have asked for them

Text messages

Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Information may be shared only with the service providers who help us send those messages on our behalf, and with no one else.

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your quote, your proof, and your order — for example, "Your proof is ready for approval" or "Your order is ready for pickup."

  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message frequency varies, and depends on your job.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call us at (217) 685-0162.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Email

If we send you an email you would rather not get, reply and say so, or use the unsubscribe link. We will still email you about a job you have in progress.

Who else sees it

We use outside services to run the shop — for messaging and customer records, for invoicing and payments, and for hosting this website. They only see what they need to provide that service, and they are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

Artwork and files

Files you send us are used to produce your job. We may show finished work in our gallery or on social media as an example of what the shop does. If you would rather we did not show yours, tell us and we will not.

How long we keep it

We keep job records and artwork so reorders are easy — most customers come back and ask for the same thing again. If you want your information removed, ask and we will remove what we are not required to keep.

Children

This site is meant for business customers and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
